"Be silent, and come out of him!"
MARK 1:25
A man with an unclean spirit cried out, "What have you to do with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are, the Holy One of God." But Jesus rebuked him, saying, "Be silent, and come out of him!" And the unclean spirit, convulsing him and crying with a loud voice, came out of him.
Sickness or infirmities greatly affects our way of thinking and manner of speaking. It eats up the good in us and by not feeling well, we easily become irritated. We may even blame and question the Lord regarding such a painful condition that we are experiencing. The Lord knows this, it is not really us but the unclean spirit that is in us.
God wants you to be well and perfect in every way for He is perfect. Surrender to Him any unclean spirit that is in you so that you can forever be free from such burden or bondage. Believe in the power of His word that has authority over all things that exists.
In the silence of your heart, be still and know that He is God!And they were all amazed, so that they questioned among themselves, saying, "What is this? A new teaching! With authority he commands even the unclean spirits, and they obey him."
He healed many who were sick with various diseases, and cast out many demons; and he would not permit the demons to speak, because they knew him. (Mark 1:34)
Lord, as I open myself to your healing power, please command any unclean spirit that is in me or surrounding me to be silent and come out of me. In the mighty name of Jesus, I claim healing and freedom from such disorderly condition.
